Job Requirements: - BS in computer science, software engineering, or a related quantitative field of study with 2-5 years of applicable experience - Experience in the design and implementation of complex, secure, mission critical software systems - Scripting in Perl, Python or equivalent scripting language - Experience in C or C++ development in a Unix environment - Experience with development tools such as: gcc, gdb, automake, autoconf and cvs - Java Technologies to include J2EE (JSP, Servlet*s, HTTP(S), EJB, JMS, JDBC, JNDI), Web Services, UDDI, XML, XSD, WSDL, SOAP, JAXB - Understanding of basic TCP/IP networking concepts - Understanding of multiple OS of computer systems, and network, database and application security issues - Ability to apply sound software engineering practices to program development (e.g., systematic approach to developing and documenting code, version control and configuration management, inspections and thorough testing). - Excellent reasoning and problem-solving skills - Ability to work effectively without close supervision - Excellent oral and written communication skills in English Job Title: Information Security Engineer – Auditing and Analysis (网络信息安全工程师) Job Description: The Information Security team at eBay protects eBay, Inc’s community reputation and brands by performing security audits, developing security tools, educating the internal eBay, Inc. community and defining policies and standards based on regulatory requirements and industry best practices. This position will be responsible for our vulnerability management program across servers, hosts and network layer devices. Responsibilities: Job responsibilities will include but are not limited to: • Conducts and perform scanning based on vulnerability assessments and analysis • Monitors security logs to identify security breaches occurring in network environments • Analyze and perform systematic report based on detecting • Designs and conducts periodic and ad-hoc security auditing of systems and networks to identify security incidents and breaches • Regularly updated security policy to ensure maximum security of information and information systems • Other duties as assigned Job Requirements: • BS in Computer Science/related degree or equivalent work experience • 2+ years experience with network security environment • Good understanding of TCP/IP and other network protocols and services • Strong analytical and technical communication skills a must • Experience in auditing and interpreting network security policy implementation • Experience with system monitoring and management software • Experience with Snort or Nessus is a plus • Cross-platform Unix/Windows knowledge a plus • Enthusiastic about e-commerce operations, great team player, warm-hearted and self-motivated • Be able to work under high pressure, able to work flexible hours as required by business priorities • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
